Due to exciting growth and business developments, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Creative Strategy Director to join a prestigious professional services company in their United Arab Emirates office. You will be using your creative communication and campaign experience to expand opportunities for the firm, as you work to support clients with stakeholder communication and engagement through creative outlets, including design, film and digital. Candidates must have excellent client development skills, and strong experience within creative strategy and film production to be considered for this role. Relocation support is available to candidates outside of the UAE, but candidates must have strong experience working with clients based in the region.
Key Duties of the Creative Strategy Director to include:
Creative Strategy
- Provide strategic and creative solutions to client issues, leveraging deep client knowledge.
- Connect insights to communication strategies across key channels.
- Design campaigns that engage diverse audiences, ensuring clear and compelling messaging aligned with client goals.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for client issues and oversee client-facing team responses.
Business Development
- Enhance and advise on corporate brand, sustainability, employee engagement, and marketing communication strategies.
- Drive new business development in IMEA and internationally, collaborating with UK and US teams.
- Lead and deliver successful pitches with project management and design teams.
Client Management
- Lead and manage the Creative client portfolio, supporting company leadership and ensuring consistent deliverables.
- Align communication strategies with client needs, and manage expectations.
- Develop and implement client growth and development plans.
Internal Leadership
- Lead and nurture the Creative team, ensuring they are resourced, supported, and aligned with client goals.
- Guide team members through coaching, training, and strategic briefing.
- Oversee creative output to ensure it meets project briefs and withstands high-pressure situations.
Requirements for the successful Creative Strategy Director to include:
- Educated to University undergraduate level or equivalent
- At least 12 years’ experience working within the creative field and corporate communications, with a focus on campaign creation
- Exceptional client handling abilities, skilled in relationship-building and networking
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to execute vision and handle high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in delivering multi-channel campaigns and managing multiple global accounts at pace.
- Film production experience highly desired
